Engineered Flooring

Engineered flooring is the most popular type of wood flooring used around the world; it is constructed in multiple layers with the lamella (top layer) being visible once installed.

The layers below the visible layer are layered with the grains of the wood going in opposite directions.

The construction of engineered floors means they are more stable and less sensitive to moisture than solid boards. This gives engineered flooring a universal appeal and can be installed on all types of subfloor.

Engineered boards are available in a variety of thicknesses from 10mm engineered parquet wood blocks to structural engineered flooring of 18-23mm in thickness.

The advancement in manufacturing techniques means engineered floors can be supplied and fitted in a variety of patterns and finishes, from herringbone floors to wideplank wood strip floors in a variety of finishes and styles.
